YOUNG ENTERPRISE iNITIATIVE - Start in France

YEi Start in France, started in 2005, is an accelerator designed to help tech startups to develop their project in France and grow their business in Europe.

It provides an intensive training in Paris and one free immersion week in France that will allow laureates to benefit from of an extensive customized business network and connections with the best resources in France in their fields. 

The competition accepts applications from startups incorporated in the US, Italy, South Africa, Finland ,Taiwan and Korea!

THE PROGRAMME

French Tech Seoul is glad to have the opportunity to select a few innovative tech startups from Korea and introduce them to YEI program. Each of the Korean startup selected to participate in the YEi Start in France accelerator program will be sponsored for one trip to France from Nov. 5, 2018 to Nov. 9, 2018.

The covered expenses include:

One roundtrip ticket (economy) to Paris from the Seoul;

Hotel Costs for one person including breakfast: 5 nights in Paris and another French region (as recommended by YEi Start in France);

Transportation between Paris and the other French region for one person (as recommended by YEi Start in France);

APPLICATION

Criteria of eligibility:                               

Less than 30 employees

Less than 2M USD turn over in 2017

Any technology fields

Technological startups, which would benefit from partnering with French companies / research organisations

Motivated entrepreneur willing to spend one week in France (CEO or CTO)

Mature startup: at least with a prototype or a working app/service. Prefered pre-A or Series A startups

Korean based company

Timeline:

May 31: Online application deadline

July: Final announcement (3 startups selected for YEi programme in Paris)
